Faye Franklin’s meager beginnings originate in Grambling, Louisiana where she attended Grambling University. After moving to California in 1973 she attended Langley College in Alameda where her studies were heavily concentrated in finance and banking.

She completed an internship with Bank of America as a customer service representative. Impressed by her work ethic and attention to detail; Bank of America offered her a full-time position where she remained until she relocated to Houston. She continued her banking career after relocation with Frost Bank. As a single mother, she transferred to Armco Steel to attain a more lucrative income to provide for her family.

With the dissolution of Armco Steel, Faye returned to the world of finance working for several lucrative banking institutions within the Houston metropolitan area. Driven by a desire to tackle new and more challenging responsibilities; she became the office manager for Copeland’s of New Orleans, an upscale restaurant located in the heart of Houston.

After five years of learning the ins and outs of restaurant operations; she returned to banking, her first love.

Serving as a Vice President District Manager for First National Bank; Faye Franklin led one of the most diverse managerial teams known throughout the southwest district of the organization.
